The Band
Raised on a staple of country legends such as Charley Pride and Johnny Cash, Gavin continues to gain recognition for his own heartfelt lyrics and powerful voice, having won 8 songwriting awards for songs such as Mango Kisses, Plant Me a Seed, and Too Scarred.
Performing with his band Jarrah, the group have supported artists such as Archie Roach and Paul Kelly at festivals and events all around the country.

Since the release of their second album (available on Spotify), Gavin and Jarrah have received regular airplay on Triple J, 3CR, Triple A Murri Country, 3KND and SBS Radio national.
Jarrah’s members include: Gavin Somers – vocals & guitar, Lee Morgan – lead Guitar, David Beaton – bass, Michael Davis – drums, Oscar France – Keyboard, Georgia Somers & Riley Somers – vocals.
